the institute is proactive and encourages students and faculty involves in all
academic activities with in out side the campus. Majority of our students are
active and participate in all academic programs. Faculty members are committed
and regular to their duties.

Good Governance:

Parents Meeting is
conducted in every year for every class. Eminent personalities from
pharmaceutical industry were invited to share their impressions about the
industry and explain the opportunities available for the pharmacy students.
Principal of the college will present previous minutes and agenda focusing on
academic issues and student performance. Correspondent will be present during
every parent meeting. All Parents were given the opportunity to share their
views. This activity has started from 2003.

Students Feedback on Institutional
Governance/Faculty performance:

The institute has
been obtaining feed back from the students through formal and informal channels
on the Teaching and Learning process. For the last three years, we have been
eliciting feedback by administering a questionnaire incorporating various
dimensions of the Teaching and Learning process for every six months. Based on
the feedback, we have conducted NATIONAL LEVEL workshops on Teaching
Competencies and The Art & Science of Reporting Research during 2006
involving experts from different faculties of knowledge- Education, Management
and Pharmaceutical Sciences to improve teaching and learning process. The
important areas are Communication Skills, Teaching Strategies, Good Laboratory
Practices, and Management of Presentations etc. Micro-communication strategies
are adopted to train the faculty.

Grievance redressal mechanism for Faculty , Staff
and Students:
|
|
Students can
approach the Principal for redressal of their grievance at the First Stage. If
their grievances are not settled at principal they can approach the
correspondent. Faculty and staff can approach the Principal for redressal of
their grievances at first stage. If they are not solved to their satisfaction,
they can approach correspondent at Second Stage and executive council finally.
However, appropriate committees were appointed to redress the grievances at
various levels.
